You can undergo a free Survive in the Water Assessment at Southport or Palm Beach Aquatic Centres. These sessions include an assessment of your competency in a range of basic water survival skills and include information on what to do in an emergency. This assessment is conducted by staff from Surf Life Saving Queensland and is recommended for non-swimmers or beginner swimmers.
Southport – Monday, 11 November from 5.00pm to 7.00pm
Palm Beach – Tuesday, 12 November from 5.00pm to 7.00pm
